Uncommon Business Services is a California Limited Liability Company established in 2022 to help Youth Organizations meet the state's legal requirements for properly screening volunteers and employees who work with minors. As the law and the process continue to evolve, so does our company.

Our CEO, Leanna Sheley, has worked with nonprofit organizations and churches for over 30 years.

Legal Records Administration

For over 23  years, Leanna has served in the legal department for a religious nonprofit organization that serves over 400 churches. She has served as the Custodian of Records, maintaining the applications and background information for volunteers who work with minors. She brings this experience to Uncommon Business Service, providing consultation to businesses and youth organizations navigating California's ever-changing laws.
